Tatiana I. Novikova has completed her PhD at the age of 28 years from Saint-Petersburg State University at the department of Geophysics. For many years she is successful collaborator with Institute of Geodynamics, National Observatory of Athens and Institute of Earth Silences, Academia Sinica, Taiwan. Her research interests belong to the area of application of numerical models in study of such geohazard phenomena (and their risk assessment) as: tsunamis and its origins as earthquakes, landslides, pyroclastic flows; modeling of non-linear site responses including liquefaction.
Also she made a significant contribution with her study dedicated to Minoan volcano eruption and tsunami during the stay in Wiener Laboratory, American School of Classical Studies, in Greece as research associate.
She has numerous publication in H-index scientific journals and chapters of the books.
