Neil Foster

Neil Foster is an Associate Professor in Immunology and Infection at The School of Veterinary Medicine and Science, Nottingham University UK. A graduate of the University of Leeds, he has previously worked at the Institute for Animal Health and the Sir Willian Dunne School of Pathology, University of Oxford. The Foster laboratory studies the early immune response to pathogens in both humans and domestic animals and have a long standing interest in the inflammatory response of innate immune cells to Salmonella and the effect of immune modulators such as vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP).
