Hassan Azaizeh is a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Applied Research, Galilee Society, senior Lecturer at the Department of Environmental Studies and Biotechnology at Tel Hai College. Azaizeh is a graduate of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Faculty of Agriculture, Rehovot, Israel with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture - Plant Pathology and a Master of Science from the same institute specializing in Microbiology and Plant Pathology and has a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas A&M, the USA from the Department of Microbiology specializing in Toxicology. During his research studies, he engaged in a number of local and international studies and research projects related to a variety of fields such as environmental biotechnology, water treatment, solid and liquid waste treatment, renewable energy such as bioethanol and biogas, toxicology, microbiology, biochemistry, natural compounds from medicinal plants, and others.
