 Addiction is outlined as not having management over doing, taking or exploitation one thing to the purpose wherever it can be harmful to you. People with addiction use substances or engage in behaviours that become compulsive and often continue despite harmful consequences. 

Addiction harms not only the individual person with the addiction but also everyone around them. If one could experience significant substantial harm from substance use or an activity but probably would not label one’s behavioural addiction unless it happens regularly. People are genetically predisposed to repeat things that are rewarding or bringing about pleasure. The addicted person might find it valuable because it reduces anxiety and helps them provide a temporary escape from dismal circumstances or sheer boredom. Track 2: Alcoholism

Alcohol being readily available and considered a social drink, most people fall prey to alcohol addiction. Rampage drinking is a serious problem of heavy anecdotal drinking, a modern sobriquet for drinking alcoholic beverages with the primary intention of becoming intoxicated by heavy consumption of alcohol over a short period of time. This type of problematic drinking which leads to alcohol dependency is called alcoholism. In this addiction various psychological and clinical changes takes place in the human body including alcoholic liver diseases. Women alcoholism during pregnancy may result in foetal alcohol syndrome which is a pattern of severe physical and mental defects in the developing fetus. Alcohol poses a major threat causing DNA methylation and inhibition in neural stem cell differentiation. DNA methylation significantly affects gene expression as alcohol hinders the process and access of folate and inhibition in neural stem cell differentiation retards olfaction, neural receptors and neural development. Alcohol consumption by pregnant woman affects the fetus greatly causing Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. Alcohol on entering the liver sets off cascading epigenetic changes resulting in liver damage, liver cancer and immunological problems. Various chemotherapeutic agents like methadone are used for alcohol detoxification.

Track 3: Mental Health

Mental health refers to our comprehension, behavioral, and emotional well-being. The term 'mental health' is sometimes used to convey an absence of a mental disorder. Mental health can persuade our daily life, relationships as well as physical health. Mental health also includes a person's efficiency to enjoy life and to maintain a balance between life activities and intension to achieve psychological flexibility. Several factors were involved in experiencing mental disorder.  Dual Diagnosis is a condition when a person experiences both a substance misuse issue and another psychological well-being issue, for example, sorrow or a nervousness issue.
