Biography :

Dr. Kavita Bhalekar, RN, PhD (N), MBA in Healthcare Management from Geneva business school. Currently working as the Nursing Director - Abu Dhabi Cluster at NMC specialty hospital, UAE. Area of interest include Clinical care, Healthcare Informatics, Quality and Accreditations, Clinical Research. She has successfully Standardized Nursing competencies, Implemented of Nursing Dashboard and Established Nursing KPI’s for the entire group of NMC healthcare. Throughout her career, she has actively participated in the steering committees, work groups and task forces of NMC healthcare. She has been an active team member in NMC’s accreditation processes for JCI, HAAD, SKEA, DQA, ISO. She spearheaded for “Dr. C R Shetty Centre for simulation and interactive learning and development”. She has Commissioned First Aid clinics, school health clinics and Medical Center's in UAE. She has published articles in reputed nursing journals and currently serves as the International Editor for Journal of Critical Care Nursing Society of INDIA

Biography :

Dr. El Hadji Seydou Mbaye was born in 1978 in Kaolack a region of Senegal. During 2008-2013, he earned his PhD in Biology and Human Pathologies with the collaboration of the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) /WHO, Lyon (France); 2006-2007 : Master of Life and Health, Specialty Biology of microorganisms, Virology in Louis Pasteur University of Strasbourg (France); 2005-2006 : Master of Life and Health, option of Immuno-physiopathology in Louis Pasteur University of Strasbourg (France); 2004-2005 : License of Biochemistry in Louis Pasteur University of Strasbourg (France); 2002-2004 : General Degree in Sciences and Technologies in University of METZ (France). He was certified, by the United Nations for Basic Notion of Security on the Ground-Protection, Health and behavior, by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC)/World Health Organization, Lyon (France) for Safety Certificate. He has published 1 Book with a style of philosophical story. Author of the world program against cancer in low and middle incomes countries, he is lead author (first listed) of more than 90 peer-reviewed research articles published in reputed journals. Dr. Alirio Martinho Belchior has Degree and Diploma in Nursing, had a post Graduate in Continued Care, a certificate in Practice Assessor and supervisor course, Degree in Advancing Renal Course Practice and Ph.D. in applied research in Preventive medicine, Public Health and Surgery from University of Santiago de Compostela. He also attended various seminar, conferences, training in Integrated quality management system and improvement of patient care and safety. He is presently working as the Clinic Manager of Diaverum UK ltd. Clacton Dialysis Unit and registered under the Care Quality Commission. He is the UK Brand Ambassador for EDTNA/ERCA, BRS council member and ANNUK member. He is also the current President and CEO of the World Nurse Association. Alirio does research in nursing science and nephrology. He is also a verified reviewer of the article being published in the Journal of Kidney Care. He has more than 14 years of experience in the field of Nursing. Alirio has held post as Clinic Manager of Fresenius Medical Care in UK and spend over a year doing education and training through Southeast Asia about dialysis, with a commitment to mentoring and encouraging junior members of staff and other allied professionals.He was the Chairman of the Board of a Humanitarian Association of Paramedics and Firefighters back in Portugal for more than 5 years.

Biography :

Director of Nursing in the Private sector, responsible for direct change management, Quality improvement, maintenance of standards and Improvement initiatives.21years nursing experience, I completed my nurse training with the University of Chelmsford in the Northeast of England. Years later pursued a Master’s program in Healthcare management. Most of my work experience has been with the National Health Service (NHS) the UK. I have held different roles at different times, from Specialist nurse to Matron Position. Passionate about engaging with patients to find out their needs and ensuring these needs are met. Outside this, I have been involved in some patient projects on a wide scale one of which was improving patient hospital food, (Led by royal college of nursing UK), opening of an isolation unit in a general community hospital. I am part of a team that commissioned a Private hospital in the UAE from none operational to the operational stage. Involvement in care quality commissioning in UK and JCI preparations for initial application and re-commissioning in a hospital in Saudi Arabia. Great interest and experience in formulating and designing pathways and processes. My Focus is Patients and I am their Voice.

Yann-Fen Chao completed her Ph.D. study from Rush University College of Nursing in1991. Currently, she was a Professor and Chair of the Department of Nursing at Mackay Medical College in New Taipei City, Taiwan. Dr. Chao published more than 100 research papers with 41 in SCI journals. She also has been served as an editorial board member of an SCI journal. Her research areas were patient safety, symptom management, and nursing education.

Responsibility

Delegates are personally responsible for their belongings at the venue. The Organizers will not be held responsible for any stolen or missing items belonging to Delegates, Speakers or Attendees; due to any reason whatsoever.

Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind.

Transportation

Please note that any (or) all transportation and parking is the responsibility of the registrant.

Press/Media

Press permission must be obtained from Allied Academies Organizing Committee prior to the event. The press will not quote speakers or delegates unless they have obtained their approval in writing. The Allied academies are a non-profit organization. This conference is not associated with any commercial meeting company.

Requesting an Invitation Letter

For security purposes, letter of invitation will be sent only to those individuals who had registered for the conference. Once your registration is complete, please contact us to request a personalized letter of invitation.

Regarding refunds, all bank charges will be for the registrant's account.

Cancellation, Postponement and Transfer of Registration

All cancellations or modifications of registration must be made in writing to Program Manager(finance@alliedacademies.com).

Cancellation Policy

If Allied academies cancel this event for any reason, you will receive a credit for 100% of the registration fee paid. You may use this credit for another Allied Academies Conferences (AAC) event which must occur within one year from the date of cancellation.

Postponement

If Allied academies postpone an event for any reason and you are unable or unwilling to attend on rescheduled dates, you will receive a credit for 100% of the registration fee paid. You may use this credit for another Allied Academies Conferences event which must occur within one year from the date of postponement.

Transfer of registration

All fully paid registrations are transferable to other persons from the same organization if registered person is unable to attend the event. Transfers must be made by the registered person in writing to Program ManagerDetails must be included with the full name of replacement person, their title, contact phone number and email address. All other registration details will be assigned to the new person unless otherwise specified.

Registration can be transferred to one conference to another conference of Allied academies if the person is unable to attend one of conferences.

However, Registration cannot be transferred if it is intimated within 14 days of the respective conference.

The transferred registrations will not be eligible for Refund.

Visa Information

Keeping in view of increased security measures, we would like to request all the participants to apply for Visa as soon as possible.

Allied Academies will not directly contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants. All delegates or invitees should apply for Business Visa only.

Important note for failed visa applications: Visa issues cannot come under the consideration of cancellation policy of Allied Academies, including the inability to obtain a visa.

Refund Policy:

If the registrant is unable to attend and is not in a position to transfer his/her participation to another person or event, then the following refund arrangements apply:

Keeping in view of advance payments towards Venue, Printing, Shipping, Hotels and other overheads, we had to keep Refund Policy is as following slabs-

  • Before 60 days of the conference: Eligible for Full Refund less $100 service fee
  • Within 60-30 days of Conference: Eligible for 50% of payment Refund
  • Within 30 days of Conference: Not eligible for Refund
  • E-Poster Payments will not be refunded.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy:

Accommodation Providers (Hotels) have their own cancellation policies, and they generally apply when cancellations are made less than 30 days prior to arrival. Please contact us as soon as possible, if you wish to cancel or amend your accommodation. Allied Academies will advise the cancellation policy of your accommodation provider, prior to canceling or amending your booking, to ensure you are fully aware of any non-refundable deposits
