Exploring the Advancements in Surgical Dermatology and Cosmetology
- Dermatology Summit 2021

Past Conference Report

Past Conference Report 2020:

On June 08-09, 2020, AAC had hosted the Global Summit on Dermatology and Cosmetology 2020 in London, UK. We got active involvement and generous responses from members of the Organizing Committee and other enlightened thinkers, resulting in this conference becoming one of AAC's most fruitful events in 2020.

The Dermatology Summit 2020 was a huge success. It would not have been possible without the Organizing Committee, Speakers, Attendees, Media partners, host and anyone else who worked hard to make it happen, encourage new knowledge and developments.

Last year we had speakers from Brown University School of Medicine, USA and Medical University of Lublin, Poland & Poster from the Toyama University in Japan and several others who made the event more useful and creative.

Session 15 - Trichology:

Hair transplant operation is a common method of hair loss therapy that leads to a safe, natural look of hair. It is an operational procedure that removes hair follicles from one part of the body, known as a donor, to a bald or shallow portion of the body. Two hair transplantation procedures are widely in use. FUE (follicular unit extraction) is the first technique and FUT is the second technique (Follicular Unit Transplantation). The operation will vary mostly in the way that hair follicles are removed from the region of the donor. FUT has follicular units of hair groupings typically containing 1, 2, 3, or 4 hairs on the scalp. The second is the FUE hair transplantation procedure. Extraction of the follicular unit. The operation involves the actual follicular unit jointing with the back of the head one by one by cutting the hair follicles with a small tool or a mechanical system.

Session 19 - Atopic dermatitis:

The condition that reds and itches your skin is atopic dermatitis (eczema). It is common in kids but may be present at any age. Atopic dermatitis (chronic) is long-lasting and sometimes flare-up. Asthma or hay fever may accompany it. For atopic dermatitis, no treatment has been found. Around the back of the body, the knees and elbow pliers are normally very itchy for children and adults. You may also have tiny bumps and skin flaccid. On the ears, wrists, and forearms, the rash can also grow. Your skin can become thick, dark, and scarred if you scratch. Itchiness in the night when you go to bed is normally worse. It can also lead to infection through scratching. You're going to see red bumps hurting and pus filling. When this happens, make sure you visit a doctor. However, therapies and self-care will alleviate itching and avoid new outbreaks. It helps, for example, avoid hard soaps, regularly humidify your skin and use medicated creams or ointments.

Market Analysis

Market Analysis:

In the 2016-2022 prediction cycle the global cosmetics industry is predicted to earn $429.8 billion, which is CAGR 4.3 percent. The Cosmetics market (make-up or skin products) is a combination of chemicals often used to improve a human body's look or odor. Sun-care, skincare, haircare, deodorants, cosmetics for beauty and color, and fragrances, are some of the most often used beauty products. The main delivery platforms are retail stores, such as supermarkets, exclusive brand retailers, and convenience stores, with customers being increasingly popular online networks.

The skin cancer Dermatology market in the United States and Canada was estimated at over USD 1.4 billion and USD 0.4 billion, respectively, in 2019 and is expected to rise at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.2 percent and 6.3 percent, respectively, from 2020 to 2027.

In the last decade, there has been a significant increase in household incomes. World economic development, change in lifestyles, the increasing demand for skin and sunscreen products due to different weather conditions promote the development of the cosmetics industry. The growth of the cosmetic industry is fostered by a change in choice to natural and organic products, in particular in the US and European countries. The increased demand for natural beauty products, herbal and organic, offers manufacturers opportunities to evolve and produce new products in line with customer desires.

In 2018, almost 18 million adults in the United States were surgically and minimally invasively treated by cosmetics, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). The cosmetic operation works on improving the body while plastic operation reconstructs areas of the body which have suffered an injury due to illness, burns, and traumas.

Almost 204 questionnaires were analyzed by the authors of a recent study in the United Kingdom to classify factors that lead to cosmetic surgery. The results found that women who valued self-esteem, happiness with life, and beauty as poor had no religious confidence and were more likely to seek plastic surgery with high media attention.
