Biography :

Prof. Dr. Michael Stark specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology. His main interest is gynecological oncology. He initiated the VIEZION project which combines targeted chemotherapy, PIF, immunology and stem-cell therapy for improving post-surgical oncological treatment. Prof. Stark is currently the scientific and medical advisor of ELSAN, a 120 hospital group in France and is a guest scientist at the Charité University Hospital in Berlin. Since 2004 he has been the President of the New European Surgical Academy (NESA), an international inter-disciplinary surgical organization with members in 54 countries and a formal cooperation agreement with FIGO concerning transmission of knowledge to countries with limited resources. In 2011, Prof. Stark was nominated as the Medico Del Anno (Doctor of the Year) in Italy, and is an Honorary Member of the French, Polish, Russian, Serbian, and Italian Gynecological Associations and Honorary Professor at the University of Chisinau. In the years 1983-2000 he was the medical director and head of Ob/Gyn department of the Misgav Ladach General Hospital in Jerusalem, and between 2001 and 2009 the chairman of all Ob/Gyn departments of the HELIOS Hospital Group in Europe. He was the scientific director of the European novel Tele-surgical system. He was visiting Professor at the Universities of Toronto, Moscow, Milan, Adana, Uppsala and the Weill-Cornell University hospital in New York where he demonstrated modified surgical methods, such as the vaginal and abdominal hysterectomy and his Cesarean Section. He developed the concept of single-entry natural orifice surgery. He was involved in the development of the trans-oral thyroidectomy and TransDouglas abdominal surgery.

Biography :

Professor Emeritus Radu Mutihac is Chair of Medical Physics, University of Bucharest, and works in Neuroscience, Signal Processing, Microelectronics, and Artificial Intelligence. As postdoc/research associate/visiting professor/full professor he has conducted his research at the University of Bucharest, International Centre for Theoretical Physics (Italy), Ecole Polytechnique (France), Institut Henri Poincaré (France), KU Leuven (Belgium). Data mining and exploratory analysis of neuroimaging time series were addressed during two Fulbright Grants in Neuroscience (Yale University, CT, and University of New Mexico, NM, USA). His research in fused biomedical imaging modalities was carried out at the Johns Hopkins University, National Institutes of Health, and Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, MD, USA. Since 2008, Prof. Mutihac has been nominated PhD student supervisor in the field of Biophysics and Medical Physics at the University of Bucharest, Romania. Prof. Mutihac is member of the ISMRM, ESMRMB, OHBM, Romanian US Alumni Association, and fellow of Signal Processing and Neural Networks Society IEEE, as well as referee for several journals of the Institute of Physics (London, UK), Neural Networks (Elsevier), IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, and evaluator/expert for the ISMRM, OHBM, ARACIS, CNCSIS, UEFISCDI, The Romanian – U.S. Fulbright Commission, and the European Commission (FP7, H2020). Prof. Mutihac published over 120 scientific papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals, 12 monographs, and contributed with chapters in other 11 textbooks published by renowned scientific publishing houses. He participated in more than 150 scientific meetings with posters and oral presentations, seminars, invited and plenary lectures, as well as acting as member of the organizing committees, special session organizer, chairperson, and keynote speaker. Following his scientific activity, Prof. Mutihac has been nominated as Member of the Editorial Board of 8 journals in the field of Neuroscience: J. Romanian College of Medical Physicists, J. Childhood & Developmental Disorders, J. Neurology and Clinical Neuroscience, Medical and Clinical Reviews, J. of Translational Neurosciences, Epilepsy J., The Neurologist - Clinical and Therapeutics J., and Advances in Neurology and Neuroscience.

Research Interest :

Dr. Radu Mutihac's main research fields have been Neuroscience, Signal Processing, Microelectronics, and Artificial Intelligence.

Biography :

Professor Mehmet Emre Atabek has completed his Ph.D. at the age of 37 years from Erciyes University and postdoctoral studies from Selcuk University School of Meram Medicine. He is the director of Pediatric Endocrinology, a premier pediatric endocrinolgy and diabetology service organization. He has published more than 140 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of repute. He has been interested in searching metabolic problems of obese children in most of his articles. His articles have been cited more than 1500 citations by another article in Web of Science so far. He continues to work as head of the Department of Pedaitric Endocrinolgy, Necmettin Erbakan University.

Biography :

Dr. Ellahham has served as Chief Quality Officer for SKMC since 2009. In his role, Dr. Ellahham has led the development of a quality and safety program that has been highly successful and visible and has been recognized internationally by a number of awards. As Chief Quality Officer and Global Healthcare Leader, Dr. Ellahham had a focus on ensuring that that implementation of these best practices leads to breakthrough improvements in clinical quality, patient safety, patient experience and risk management. Dr. Ellahham is a Board-certified internist, cardiologist and vascular medicine senior consultant and continues to care for patients. He received his undergraduate degree in biology and his M.D. from the American University of Beirut, Beirut, Lebanon. Dr. Ellahham did his fellowship in Cardiology at the Medical College of Virginia (MCV) in USA. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Ellahham worked in Washington DC in several clinical and leadership positions before moving to UAE in 2008. He led the First AHA GWTG Heart Failure Initiative outside US and was the recipient of the AHA GWTG Award in Wash. DC. He is the champion of the AHA GWTG in the region. Dr. Ellahham continues to be an active clinician. He is board certified in internal medicine, vascular medicine, cardiology and quality. He was recently recertified in 2017 by the American Board of Cardiology (ABIM). He demonstrated great skill and experience in the management of patients with heart failure, ischemic heart disease, and valvular heart disease and led a multi-disciplinary team in the care and delivery of advanced therapies to these patients. He has unique abilities to partner and engage local and regional referring providers. He is able to work in a highly matrixed environment, possess strong leadership and organizational skills and have experience to working effectively in a large health system. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and key member in Heart Failure and Transplant, Adult Congenital and Pediatric Cardiology, Cardio-oncology and Peripheral Vascular Disease Sections.

Biography :

Currently working as a Research Professor at the Urology, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology Departments of the New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. Research interests include molecular mechanisms of urological malignancies such as prostate, kidney and bladder cancers and the role metabolism plays in cancer progression and metastasis and cancer specific signaling pathways. Other research projects include the metabolic pathways that are deranged in sepsis, renal ischemia and metabolic manipulation strategies to enhance transplantation tolerance by educating macrophages and reducing their inflammatory signaling. Such molecular approaches would be beneficial in renal and other reconstruction surgeries in the future.

Prof Produl Hazarika MBBS, DLO, MS, FACS, FRCS (Edin), FIAO, FUWAI, Fellow of UICC is presently working as an otolaryngologist in NMC Specialty Hospital in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. He is a former professor and head and director of post graduate studies of the department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head&Neck Surgery in Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India. He has 28 years of clinical teaching experience both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with over 100 publications in various national and international journals. He was selected as international guest scholar by the American College of Surgeon in 1986 and has travelled widely to the U.S, Australia, U.K and Malaysia, Switzerland, Mauritius on various fellowship programs. He has conducted various operative workshops abroad and in India. He has taken up an overseas assignment for two years as a consultant and head of the department of ENT, Armed Forces Hospital in Kuwait. He was en elceted chairman of editorial board of Indian Journal of Otolaryngology and Head&nck Surgery for the years 1996 to the year 1999. He was appointed as external accessor by University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from August 2000- April 2005. He was the examiner for both undergraduate and post- graduate student of various universities of India He had done pioneering work in Surgical Rehabilitation of alaryngeal patients in India. He has also introduced voice prosthesis known as HRA Prosthesis. He was the first surgeon to introduce Nucleus 22 Channel Nuclear Implant in India in March 1995. The surgical team headed by Dr. Hazarika has popularized skull based surgery in India during the late 80’s and early 90’s. He was instrumental in introducing KTP-532 Laser for the first time in a teaching institution and had carried out extensive laser work. He is the author of three otorhinolaryngology and head and neck textbooks.He is an invited speaker in various national ,regional and state conferences organize by otolaryngologist.

Cancellation, Postponement and Transfer of Registration

All cancellations or modifications of registration must be made in writing to

Cancellation Policy

If Allied Academies Group cancels this event for any reason, you will receive a credit for 100% of the registration fee paid. You may use this credit for another Allied Academies Group event which must occur within one year from the date of cancellation.


If Allied Academies Group postpones an event for any reason and you are unable or unwilling to attend on rescheduled dates, you will receive a credit for 100% of the registration fee paid. You may use this credit for another Allied Academies Ltd event which must occur within one year from the date of postponement.

Transfer of registration

All fully paid registrations are transferable to other persons from the same organization, if registered person is unable to attend the event. Transfers must be made by the registered person in writing to Details must be included the full name of replacement person, their title, contact phone number and email address. All other registration details will be assigned to the new person unless otherwise specified.

Registration can be transferred to one conference to another conference of Allied Academies Ltd if the person is unable to attend one of conferences.

However, Registration cannot be transferred if it is intimated within 14 days of respective conference.

The transferred registrations will not be eligible for Refund.

Visa Information

Keeping in view of increased security measures, we would like to request all the participants to apply for Visa as soon as possible.

Allied Academies Ltd will not directly contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants. All delegates or invitees should apply for Business Visa only.

Important note for failed visa applications: Visa issues cannot come under the consideration of cancellation policy of Allied Academies Ltd, including the inability to obtain a visa.

Refund Policy:

If the registrant is unable to attend, and is not in a position to transfer his/her participation to another person or event, then the following refund arrangements apply:

Keeping in view of advance payments towards Venue, Printing, Shipping, Hotels and other overheads, we had to keep Refund Policy is as following slabs-

  • Before 90 days of the conference: Eligible for Full Refund less $100 service Fee
  • Within 90-60 days of Conference: Eligible for 50% of payment Refund
  • Within 60 days of Conference: Not eligible for Refund
  • E-Poster Payments will not be refunded.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy:

Accommodation Providers (Hotels) have their own cancellation policies, and they generally apply when cancellations are made less than 30 days prior to arrival. Please contact us as soon as possible, if you wish to cancel or amend your accommodation. Allied Academies Ltd will advise the cancellation policy of your accommodation provider, prior to cancelling or amending your booking, to ensure you are fully aware of any non-refundable deposits.
