We take the honor to welcome all the Healthcare professionals, company s ,research centers and laboratories belonging to the field of Neuroscience and Neurodegenerative disorders towards the 4th International Conference on Parkinsons Disease during November 2-3, 2017 at Chicago,USA

Parkinsons Disease is the second most common disorder, The number of new cases per year of PD is between 8 and 18 per 100,000 person–years. There are about 7 Million people affected with PD globally and about 1 Million of them belong to the United States Only. According to various study and case reports the  onset of the Parkinsons or movement disorders range from the age of 50 and above. However, in some cases the tremor is experienced early and considered as young onset PD. Many studies and theories have been carried , considering the risk factors and the protective measures for the onset of the PD, though the results were flawed and predictable.

The Neuromuscular movement is affected in the Parkinsons Disease , focuses on conditions that have in common the fact that they all affect muscle activity and our ability to make peripheral neuropathy, myopathies, myasthenia gravis in company to Parkinson's disease. The session focuses on the neuromuscular disorders due to any traumatic induced, drug induced or as a treatment observed towards other neurological problems.

Track 3: Enterology in Parkinsons disease

The Enterological problems in Parkinsons are the most common issues or problems that are important to tackle. These problems are either involve the central or enteric nervous systems and their in capabilities due to the anti-Parkinsons drugs. Various problems like, difficulty in swallowing, nausea, constipation etc may be due to the drugs or the restricted ability of the muscle movements or neurological concerns

Track 4 : Parkinsons: Risk related factors

The Parkinsons disease is accompanied with almost 75% of the symptoms and causes of dementia . Those who are affected are likely aged between 55-69 years and make around 1% of the population in the United States. Parkinsons is most common in men than women, the causes of the disease  are believed to be either genetic or environmental .Dopamine is considered as the key control of the movements. Few added considerations can be psychological symptoms like depression, anxiety, apathy, cognitive problems, hallucinations, and delusions.

Track 5 : Diagnosis  of Parkinsons disease

The Diagnosis of Parkinsons disease is very difficult in its earlier stages, it goes unnoticed or the result is not obtained. The progression in the difficulty in individual’s neuromuscular coordination can unveil the condition to be termed as PD. But, in some instances the neurological disorder may mimic the symptoms of Parkinsons. Neurologists can confirm the onset of Parkinsons by using various neuroimaging and laboratory techniques. The medical history of the individual is considered and proceeded.

Track 6 : Parkinson Disease: Complications

PD is not fatal, but it can reduce longevity. The disease progresses more quickly in older patients, and may lead to severe incapacity within 10 - 20 years. The most common complication in Parkinsons disease are Thinking difficulties, Depression and  Blood pressure changes, emotional changes, Swallowing problems, Sleep problems and sleep disorders, Bladder problems, Constipation, Smell dysfunction, Fatigue, Pain, Sexual dysfunction and Bowel and Bladder Complications.

Track 8 : Behavioral challenges in Parkinsons

The Mood and Psychosis of a parkinsons effected individual is of high concern as the various factors of life become difficult . PD affects roughly 1.5 Million people across America and is a slow progressing disorder. The mood changes can involves  anxiety, depression, aggression, and many more. The emotional stability plays a vital role to establish a well being of the Induvidual. According to studies, it has been claimed that about 50% of PD patients experience mood, psychotic or behavioral challenges.

Track 9 : Parkinson research breakpoints

PD comes to a major neurological disorder and addressing the issue, is a critical concern. Parkinsons engulfs most of the aged Americans. Various methodology and experiments have been clinically studied to eradicate or produce comfort to the patients. The Neuroprotective agents and Neuropharmacological advancements also count the breakpoints in the PD treatments.

Track 10 : Novel Insights and Therapeutics for Parkinson Disease

The Novel Approach and the breakthroughs in the therapeutic approach of PD plays a vital role as the treatment with drugs comes along with various side effects effecting the patients. Surgical ways like Deep brain stimulation (DBS) and non-invasive therapy called transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) have been effectively performed. Dopamine replacement theory and its drawbacks in combating or reducing the progression of PD has been also studied.

Welcome Message

Allied Academics is pleased to welcome all the Deans, Heads, Practicioners, researchers, scientists, professors and young researchers who are contributing towards the field of Neurology and Neuroscience for “4th International Conference on Parkinsons Disease during Nov 2-3, 2017 at Chicago, USA’’ The theme of Parkinson conference is based on “Leading Innovation and Remedial Insight of Parkinsons Disease”. The Conference will serve as an informative and Unique podium providing researchers and the healthcare concerns, to share, discuss, learn, exchange and initiate the betterment In the Neurological World.

Parkinson’s disease is one of the commonest neurological conditions. It is estimated to affect up to 160 per 100,000 of the general population with an annual incidence of 15–20 per 100,000. Many population studies have shown the rising prevalence with age (up to 2% of the population aged 80 and over). Around 1 in 7 cases are diagnosed below the age of 60 years. The costs of treatment have been estimated at between £560,000 and £1.6 million per 100,000 of the population.

In USA a 3-year prospective study of the economic cost of PD was performed in 2006. The average annual cost per patient was estimated at $12,091, of which 55,9% accounted for direct costs. Drugs took up the major share of direct costs, $5,763 per year. Indirect costs accounted for $4,851 per patient per year. Within this, 76% of the costs were related to nursing care and the loss of productivity.
