Session on: Developments in Lung Surgeries

Surgery is expected to take tissue tests of the lungs for determination. Thoracoscopy is the type of medical examination in the thoracic cavity. The heart surgery will be referred to the cardiac related treatment. So, thoracic surgery is mostly refers to the surgery in the lungs and oesophagus. This treatment will be done with the help of general anaesthesia or local anaesthesia. The surgery can be done in two basic methods includes thoracotomy and video helped thoracoscopic surgery (VATS). In which the adaptive camera will be passed through the chest to check the lungs or pleura under video direction.

Session on: COPD and Cardiovascular Diseases

COPD (Lung Illness) and cardiovascular infection (Coronary Illness) are most commonly caused by the smoking of tobacco. COPD and cardiovascular diseases are directly proportional to each other such as the COPD may have cardiac side effects and the cardio medications may have effects on lungs. The differential diagnosis may be quite challenging, particularly in older and smoking patients has a complaint of unspecific symptoms like fatigue.

Session on: Prevention and management of COPD

COPD has no cure but it can be prevented or the symptoms can be cured by the proper medications, exercise and diet habits. The main aim of the management of COPD is to eliminate the risk factors. Smoking is considered as one of the main cause for COPD and Lung Disorders. Hence the patients should quit smoking and shouldn’t inhale the smoke of tobacco when others smoke and this should be strictly followed to prevent the COPD and Lung disorder. The proper intake of vaccines might prevent the risk of being affected by COPD. The proper daily routine like exercise, diet, and sleep cycle can reduce the risk of COPD.

Session on: Respiratory Failure and Reactive airway disease

Respiratory failure happens when the lungs can’t do its inhalation and exhalation properly. These will either result with the fewer intakes of oxygen or less exhalation of carbon-di-oxide. The excessive amount of carbon-di-oxide in our body can harm our body’s organs. The insufficient air trade in the respiratory framework leads to the respiratory disappointment. A drop in the oxygen in blood is known as hypoxemia and the decreased amount of carbon-di-oxide in blood vessel is called hypercapnia.
